South Water Alliance Private Limited (SWAPL) was founded with a clear mission: to address the rising water demand in the thriving industrial belt of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. With the Thamirabarani River facing increasing pressure, our 15 MLD state-of-the-art desalination plant at Mullaikadu Village has emerged as a vital and sustainable water source for industries across the region.

Commissioned in August 2024 and inaugurated by our Honourable Chairman, Mr. Ashwin Muthaiah, the plant stands as a powerful symbol of innovation, sustainability, and regional development. We began commercial operations in January 2025, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting industrial progress while preserving precious freshwater resources.
